When we feel separated from God it can be because we have a blockage in our relationship. We shouldn’t despair when we are tempted, but we should take this as a call to pray more fervently to God, that God will offer to help us in all tribulations; for God will surely, according to the words of Saint Paul , make with the temptation a way to escape, so we may be able to bear it.  1 Corinthians 10:13  (CIoC)
