Christ had adversaries and backbiters; so do you really wish to have all people your friends and benefactors? If you are willing to suffer no contradiction, how will you be the friend of Christ? Christ was willing to suffer and be despised, and dare you complain of anything? (CIoC) S A 2 As I read this I wonder what our attitude of gratitude is like. Many of us will have a roof over our heads, food to eat, education, free access to the library, health care….and we’ll wonder why our complaining goes unheard.
