S A 2 Grant to me above all things that I can desire to rest in You, and in You to have my heart at peace. (CIoC) The Alpha course and Youth With A Mission’s Discipleship Training Course are two great courses to explore with others the characteristics of the Christian triune God.

Let Your will be mine, and let my will ever follow You, and agree perfectly with it. (CIoC)

It is difficult to judge truly whether a good spirit or a contrary one be urging you to desire this or that; or whether by your own spirit you be moved.  Therefore, whatever seems to be desirable, must always be desired and prayed for in the fear of God and with humility of heart; and chiefly you must commit the whole matter to Me with special resignation of yourself, and you must say: “O Lord, You know what is best for us, let this or that be done, as You please. Deal with me as You think good, and in a manner that best pleases You, and brings You the most honour.  Set me where You will, and deal with me in all things just as You will”. (CIoC)
