Comfort in God

A person should settle oneself so fully in God, that one does not need to seek many comforts of people. (CIoC)

Hummm…is this true?  It seems to me that Jesus was very connected to His disciples and committed to community. So does comfort affect our ability to connect with God?


Study the biographies of Christ and the book of Acts and discuss how important community is in Christianity.  Who is in your community and how do you affect each other’s lives?
