Human corruption

The more spiritual a person desires to be, the more bitter does this present life become to that individual, because one sees more clearly and perceives more sensibly the defects of human corruption. (CIoC)

Wow, is this what happened to Jesus? I don’t think so.  I think He enjoyed the treats God gave Him here on earth but He chose not to get wrapped up in them.
