Thinking humbly of putting our trust in God

If you are guilty, see that you are willing to amend yourself, if your conscience doesn’t make you feel guilty, resolve to suffer willingly for God’s sake. (CIoC)

There is a difference between conviction and condemnation. God does not condemn He convicts.  God is very specific when He deals with us and works with us on a course of action. We will be able to follow through with it, maybe with fear and trembling as we experience a faith venture with Him. After all, how do we know He exists if we believe we can do the task without Him. On the other hand, we may ignore Him and/or beg for another assignment. This is when we start negotiating who is bossJ.  Think about the last time you heard from God.  Did He ask you to do something that would enhance your love and faith and produce the fruit of the Spirit? Did you do it?

You can discover this story in the biographies of Christ written by Sa...

Good pleasure
