If all should be spoken against you that could be
most meanly invented, what would it hurt you, if you suffer it to pass entirely
away, and made no more reckoning of it than of a speck? Could it pluck so much
as one hair from your head? The testimonies of people often deceive, but My
judgement is true, it shall stand and not be overthrown. It is commonly hidden, and not known in all
respects, but too few; notwithstanding, it never errors, neither can it err,
although to the eyes of the foolish it seems not right. People should have
recourse to Me in every judgement, and not lean on their own opinion. (CIoC)
