Hope and trust in God


Lord, what is my confidence that I have in this life? Or what is the greatest comfort I can derive from anything under heaven? (CIoC)
Is it not You, O Lord my God, whose mercies are without number? (CIoC)

Where has it ever been well with me without You? Or when could it be ill with me when You, are present?(CIoC)

I would rather be poor for Your sake than rich without You. (CIoC)
