Condemnation is from satan. It says you’re bad and you can’t do anything about it. Conviction is from God and it’s very specific. You’ve done something wrong and this is what you need to do to fix it.
But one that lays aside the fear of God can never continue in good estate, but falls quickly into the snares of the devil. (CIoC) S A 2 I’m thinking of the AA old timer Al K as I type this. I’m told he never attended church but he always encouraged others to attend and get their eyes focused on God. Can you think of why he would do this?
Yet it is good, although love is not yet of force to withhold you from sin, that at least the fear of hell should restrain you. S A 2 I find this thinking strange because I learned a long time ago that if I’m authentic with others, myself and God I have a good life. I say this knowing that God will never give me more than I can handle .
